Features the AVO DBW Throttle Controller and AVO DFC Fuel Controller for the Nissan Navara Turbo-diesel.
-
The DBW Throttle controller gives you control over your throttle response, switchable between Power modes and Off-Road modes on the fly!
-
The DFC Fuel Controller allows you to turn up the fuel, increasing your turbo-diesel’s power and torque.
Applied Models:
-
2.5-litre Intercooled Turbo Diesel

If you use your Common Rail Diesel vehicle for daily commute, serious four wheel driving, as a workhorse or for towing a caravan or horse float, most people would love more power. If you are one of these then the AVO Diesel Fuel Controller is for you.
The AVO Diesel Fuel Controller (DFC) is a plug and play unit the interrupts fuel rail input signals to the ECU and modifies these signals before sending on to the ECU. The ECU then updates its output to the fuel system with a subsequent increase in engine power. The factory setting on the unit can provide up to a 15% increase in peak torque with the same or better increase in peak Horsepower. The unit can be simply adjusted to provide more or less power increase from the factory setting. This unit is suitable for Common Rail Diesel engines only.
The AVO DFC is designed and manufactured in the AVO facility and has been designed by our resident Electronics Engineer, incorporating AVO's 30 years of Turbocharger experience on both petrol and diesel engines. Installation is simple and should take between 5-10 minutes only. The unit can then be removed just as simply if vehicle is under warranty and dealer servicing is required as there is no indication of the presence of the unit stored in the ECU. As the unit interrupts a notification circuit to the ECU, the ECU responds to what it sees and adjusts its output to the fuel system. As far as the ECU is concerned it is reacting to what it is told and any changes that occur with its output signals are still within the factory specifications of the ECU and the engine.
Torque and Horsepower ratings are from AVO’s testing using our own in house chassis Dynamometer on a wide range of Common Rail Diesel vehicles. Road tests are also conducted on these vehicles to get comparative 0-100kph times. Don’t be fooled into buying a unit that does the same job with a high price tag and claims of 30-35% power increase. That type of power increase can only be achieved with significant modifications to the ECU itself. The AVO Diesel Fuel Controller is the simplest and easiest method to obtain instant power increase.

The AVO DBW Throttle Controller allows you to re-map your throttle inputs to the throttle body controller, giving you full control over it’s behaviour.
You may have noticed with your DBW car that the position of the gas pedal doesn’t necessarily correspond to the throttle response. This is because the factory settings are a non-linear map that decides what’s optimal for their needs, not yours. The AVO DBW Throttle controller brings back that control over your car.
The DBW Controller unit allows you to choose between 3 separate modes of operation: Standard (STD), Power (Po) and Off Road (Of).
-
Po mode has 9 selectable steps with increasingly aggressive throttle mapping.
-
Of mode has 3 selectable steps with increasingly milder throttle mapping. When the throttle pedal is below 30% operation, Of mode provide a far more precise throttle map from 0%-30% throttle opening. However, if the throttle goes above 30%, it will switch over to Nor mode for safety reasons.
-
Nor mode is the normal throttle mapping from the factory.
Installing the DBW Controller is very easy, and can be accomplished in as little as 10 minutes. However, once the controller is installed, it will need to be programmed for your vehicle’s specific throttle mapping. Once this is done, it will remain in the Central unit’s memory even if removed from the vehicle.
